An AI workout coach that has seen your training Beta

I look at your actual training — what you lifted, how recovered you are, where your plan is going. Try:

  • Am I recovered enough to train legs?
  • Should I add weight to my bench?
  • Am I overtraining?
  • Is my program balanced?

Why an AI chatbot can’t plan your training

Ask any assistant whether you should add weight to your bench and it has to guess — it’s never seen you train. GymHack’s coach is handed your measured training state first, then your question.

01

It reads your numbers, it doesn’t guess them

The figures it works from are computed by the app’s own engines and handed over with every message. Log nothing and the briefing says so outright, and forbids it from naming a session, a weight or a streak you never had.

02

It edits your plan, it doesn’t describe one

17 kinds of plan edit and 29 things it can do in the app — swap an exercise, change sets, add a warm-up, build a superset, schedule a rest day. Every plan edit is checked against your actual week and the 430+ exercise database before you see it.

03

It would rather stop than guess

Ask it to swap in something called just ‘leg’ and you get nothing back — Leg Curl and Leg Press both match, so it means neither. If your message doesn’t say which session you meant and the exercise sits in more than one that week, it declines too. And nothing changes until you tap the card.

Should I add weight to my bench?

Free, and actually free — a gym log with no caps

Not a trial of the real app. This is the app.

Unlimited logging

Workouts, sets, supersets, rest timers, per-set RPE, drop sets, warm-up and failure sets. No caps on how much you train.

430+ exercises

Images, instructions, coaching cues and muscle maps. Plus your own custom exercises and gym machines.

Plans & periodisation

Build a weekly plan yourself or generate one. Periodisation phases coach you mid-session — deload, volume and intensity guidance.

Progress per exercise

Volume, max weight, estimated 1RM and your full PB history for every movement. Plus guided 1RM testing.

Cardio, HIIT & HR zones

Running, cycling, rowing, walking, stair climber and interval sessions. Add an Apple Watch or Wear OS watch for live 5-zone heart-rate training.

Share by code

Send a plan or template to your training partner with a six-character code. They don’t need an account to open it.

Built for your gym, not a generic one

Yours has that one plate-loaded machine no one else stocks. Add it — and your AI Coach will program around it.

Add your own machines Add your own machines Add your own machines
Add your own machinesName it, photograph it, tell the app what it counts as. From then on it behaves like any built-in movement across plans, history and progress charts.
Add your own exercisesYour variations, your cable angles, your grip. With muscles, equipment, defaults, instructions and cues — 5 free, up to 200 on PRO.
The AI Coach knows themAsk it to build a session around what your gym actually has and it programs with your machines. A stock library can’t coach gear it’s never heard of.
Units and formats that matchKilograms or pounds, your date format, your number format, your week start. Set it once and forget it.

The whole watch app. Both platforms. Free.

Apple Watch and Wear OS. Most trackers put the watch behind a subscription — we don’t gate it at all.

Run workouts from your wristStandalone or mirrored from your phone, on Apple Watch and Wear OS. Live heart rate, calories and activity rings.
Built for trainingPB haptics, rest timer, exercise picker, supersets, cardio and HIIT sessions — plus complications on both, Siri shortcuts on Apple Watch and tiles on Wear OS.
Works offlineThe offline workout queue flushes the moment you reconnect, and a session moves between wrist and phone.

Logging tells you what you lifted. PRO tells you what it cost.

The free app records your training. PRO models what it’s doing to your body — and the 14-day trial opens every PRO feature.

Questions

Do I really not need an account?
Correct. Install the app and start training. There’s no email prompt, no sign-up wall and no create-an-account step. Your training data lives on your device. You only sign in if you want your history synced across devices.
Is the watch app really free?
Yes — on Apple Watch and Wear OS alike. There’s no PRO gate anywhere in the watch app: standalone workouts, cardio, HIIT, heart rate and complications are all included, plus Siri shortcuts on Apple Watch and tiles on Wear OS.
My gym has machines I’ve never seen in an app. Can I add them?
Yes. Add your own machines and exercises with a photo, the muscles they work and what they count as — 5 exercises and 2 machines free, up to 200 and 50 on PRO. The AI Coach reads your custom gear too.
What exactly does PRO add?
The analytics layer: recovery and readiness, training load including systemic fatigue, per-muscle volume targets, strength progress, asymmetry detection, body and nutrition trends, the AI Coach, and cloud sync of your full training history. The 14-day free trial opens every one of them.
